  • Overview

    The marketing technologies manager will lead the development and ongoing success of the features and functionality underpinning our marketing department and creating a successful ecosphere capable of meeting our marketing KPI’s.

    Reporting into the VP Product Development and liaising with the CMO and senior marketing colleagues, the successful applicant will utilise a data driven approach to scoping and prioritising the roadmap of product improvements in this area and working with suppliers through to delivery.

    Responsibilities

    What you’ll do

    • Become an expert in the marketing technologies that allow our marketing department to acquire & retain customers
    • Use commercial data, analytics software and other information sources to monitor our KPIs and identify potential issues
    • Translate quarterly business objectives into a functional roadmap that is realistic, achievable and measurable
    • Use a data driven approach to prioritize requests for new functionality. Understand why each request is made and which KPI it impacts
    • Maintain excellent working relationships with 3rd party software suppliers, ensuring we are front of mind and heavily influencing their product roadmap, whilst gaining a deep understanding of their systems

    Qualifications

    Who you are

    • Experienced product manager, business analyst or project manager with a proven track record of dealing with multiple requests from different business functions and in particular working with marketing teams on their technology requirements
    • Able to balance & prioritise short term fixes and improvements against a long-term business strategy
    • An expert eye for detail. Constantly thinking of the customer experience and how to optimise it
    • An excellent communicator, able to tailor your communication style and language to all levels of the business
    • Experience of stakeholder management, collaboration and involvement
    • Data-driven and commercially orientated with good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Experienced in working with Scrum agile delivery methodology
